Valemount II

Overlander Falls on the Fraser River within the Mount Robson Provincial Park was a destination.  We found more excitement than just waterfalls!   Falls are not super high but high enough to make them exciting going over in a Kayak!

So we arrived at the falls and found a group of people watching and waiting.

As we looked up stream we saw a group of Kayak's parked on the stream's edge.

Than there was this action, oh they are going to portage their Kayak's.

OH, NO, NOT EVERYONE!  We witnessed 4 going over the falls, well worth the hike to the falls.  The next pictures tell the story.

OK, that was exciting.  Then we went on a raft float trip down another section of the Fraser,  NO FALLS or Rapids!  There was a mist in the air so the company provided ponchos.

The spring and summer rains have done destruction to the river banks.

Yes, it was pretty uneventful.
